Momo's Birthday Party!

We went to church Sunday morning.  Momo doesn't usually want me to do anything with her hair but she decided she wanted to show her curls  for church.  Her hair in the back has a lot of curl underneath.  She let me put some gel in it for her and this is how it looked.

After church it was time to get ready for Morgan's birthday party.  We decided to have her party at Makin' Memories.  I am so glad we did because it turned out really nice.  All the kids had fun and can't wait to see the finished results of their painted pieces.   Heather's mama, Kerri, made Morgan's cake.  She asked to have a snowflake them for her party and the cake was perfect!

Not only was it pretty, it was very YUMMY too!  When everyone arrived they were allowed to choose a piece to paint.  This took a little while since there was so much to choose from.

Ian asking what he should paint.
Sarah Beth checking it all out.
Johnny and Jacey came too.  Erin had to work.
After the picked a piece to paint, it was time to choose colors.
Aaron and Heather brought their lunch with them.
Ian picked a basketball and he was very serious about his work.
We tried talking to him but he quickly told us he was an artist and we shouldn't distract him.
Some of the guests getting their paint trays filled.
Momo getting ready to paint her heart plate.
Jacey waiting for her paint tray.
Let the painting begin!
Jacey and Papa Randy
Momo and Sarah Beth
Kelly
Ian's basketball didn't look quite like a basketball but he had fun anway.  He is such a ham!
Momo's finished plate.  It is so much fun to see how they look before they go into the kiln and then how they look after.
Time for cake!
The big kids painting.
Sara's finished piece.
Avery's finished purse bank.
Lighting the candles!
Cake and ice cream for Jacey!
Next was time for gifts!

Thank you to everyone who came to help us celebrate and special thanks to Miss Kerri for making the cake and Miss Stacey and all her helpers for opening her store for us.  We had so much fun.  I will be sure to post the pictures of the finished pieces when we get them all back.
