Happy 8th Birthday Momo!!

We are full swing into our birthday celebrations now. Momo requested the same wake up call as we gave Aaron for his birthday so that is exactly what she got!  This is before we woke her up.

SILLY STRING!

Once she was awake Randy, Aaron and Ian gave her some flowers and she came out to the living room to find her 8 balloons.

Then she opened the gifts we gave her.

A really neat baby doll she has been wanting.
....a Battleship game from Aaron.
....an outfit
...another outfit

...some movies
...a little trinket box
What is this?
Momo was very happy with her WII!!

a game for the WII

It didn't take long to get the WII hooked up and ready to go.

The kids spend the rest of the day playing.

Papa even played.
Randy had to go play that night but we all stayed home and made some homemade pizza for supper.  Heather came over and brought Momo an ice cream cake and a little frog cake too!

We were singing Happy Birthday to her.

Making a wish....

...and blowing out her candle.

As one of her gifts, Heather gave Momo a pedicure!
It tickles!!
And there was more WII playing for the rest of the night.

I think my Momo Monkey had a great birthday.  She said it was one of the best ones ever!  Momo is so special to all of us.  She has such a unique way that just makes everyone love her.  She is the most independent and strong girl I have ever met but that is one of the things that I love about her.  She does her own thing and doesn't care what anyone else thinks.  Under that hard outer shell, she is so soft and tender and is always ready to share or give to others.  She is the first to give something of her own to another person.  As an example of this, just last night as Momo was telling me how much money she had been given for her birthday.  I asked her what she wanted to buy with it and she said " I think I am going to save it so I can buy Ian something for his birthday.  I think he would like some kind of car or truck or something."  Momo, you are such a special part of our family and you have really grown up over the past year.  You are beautiful and we all love you so very much.

Her comment about what she was going to do with her birthday money just gave me goosebumps. She is such a sweetheart and deserved all of the wonderful gifts that she received on her special day. ♥

Looks like she had an AWESOME day :) And it was very grown up to say she wanted to use HER birthday money to get something for someone else :)
